Born and raised in New York, Emily is a Swedish-American writer, actress, and filmmaker who moved to the U.K. at the age of eighteen. After earning degrees from both the University of Edinburgh and Cambridge, she has gone on to create boundary-defying projects that set out to redefine how the past is put to screen.

Emily is the sole writer and lead actress for all of Ready or Knut’s on-screen and on-stage productions.
